Hi, well done at lot since my last posting but ill try and spread it all out a bit. ] Set off on a road trip last weekend to Stellenbosh, the main wine area. It beautiful and we had brunch in the mountains and then drove between places all day. Stayed in backpacker hostal over night and then breakfast at another place called Spere. Had an amazing drive back, calling at a nature resurve on the way back. When ever you travel out of the city or on the main motorway you see the townships, they think that the population in Cape towns townships alone is over 1 million! Picture of Claire, Liz, Manwel and me on wine tour. Picture also of the two girls i share a room with called Senna and Michela.

Raving it up! Missing a girly night out with my partner in crime but saving up for a MASSIVE night out when you get back. Stay out of trouble! ;-) Love ya loads! xxxx
Hi Kaz, The photos look fab, really nice place but not at all like I imagined it to be.
Had a brilliant day on Saturday, we were met by the waiter,(Dan) in a clean white shirt no less, and had champagne with John Parkin's home grown strawberries (I nicked a few of his raspberries as well to put in mine - but then again, I'm the cheeky sort you know!)
We then went up to Woodlands and had a lovely afternoon, so relaxing and yet again amid the mayhem of British Summer Weather and the most rainfall forever - the Simpsons booked a beautiful afternoon to spend in the conservatory having English Tea? - no chance the wine came out.
I took your pressie up in the morning so I didn't get caught with it - and gave it to mum and dad just before we started to eat so they could listen to your tape during the afternoon. Sorry though, I couldn't read the note and had to pass it on to Jane Parkin as I was in weepy mode last week - think its my age you know.
Anyway, back to the story, we had a lovely time chatting and eating and the puddings, you missed a treat there girl, we will have to go up one afternoon when you get back. After we had eaten your dad got up on his feet to say a few words and give everyone a laugh as he remembered lots of lovely stories of where and how they met everyone who was there.
Then before we knew it, the bus was back and it was time to leave (6pm) so we all jumped back onto the bus and started again at Spire Hollin. Lots more to drink and lots more to eat and then before we knew what had hit us, the Port was out, drunk, and it was time to leave - well for us anyway, the following day a few more stories emerged about the Maciera, but I wasn't there so don't want to tell any tales. I am sure someone else will enlighten you.
We all had an excellent day which went like clockwork - your mum is definately in the wrong job she should be in some sort of event management to fullfil her potential.
I am going to attempt to put some pictures on as well but just in case after this epic story I am going to post this first so I don't loose it.
Take care Kaz and keep on enjoying yourself, will post again soon. XXXX
Good job I saved it, can't manage the photos, sorry, but will e-mail a couple to you - hopefully!!
