A day in Malawi!!

HI there,

hope all is well at home and i know some people have been trying to call or sms me but reception or network is bad. Really do appreciate you trying though and i luv to receive messages.

Photo from Rugby Final, yes we are noe second in the world. G, Laura, Nicky and me.
on deck with Steve the immagration guy, who we knbow well and chat to weekly, he's funny.
Picture of Nigel and his friend Nick whom i treated. Lastly the MV Ilala it self.

Well ive been busy and busy on a boat for a week. The MV Ilala is the ship which sails all the way round Lake Malawi, stopping off at some major port, islands and places not reachable by road. The senery way beautiful especially in the north. Saw so much of Malawi and the people. AMAZING!! This was all thank to a nice man called Nigel which i have made friends with and been chatting to for the passed few months. He has worked on ships all his life and now lives in Malawi. The crew look after really well and was on the bridge daily with the Master. I did help out with a few minor injures and one major burn.

Hospital is going ok but would like to move on now. Had a few deaths most of those due to Malaria and mainly children. The staff at the hospital are really nice and they are trying to teach me as much as they can about tropical medicen. Which i do like, so thats cool.

Had a bon fire last night, a day late but had to get the wood sorted out. We had dancing round and marsh mellows. It was fun.

Tomorrow is Nickys birthday ao planning a few thing for her, also a big weekend in Lilongwe going to Casino and bar etc, should be good.
